Myth #1: Only local classified ads get results

Fact: Classified ads make your brand global and assist you to expand your operations throughout the world. It fetches good revenues for local markets, but it's  equally effective to target international markets. Suppliers of industrial goods or other specific commodities can benefit their business enormously from classifieds.



Myth #2: It takes a lot of time to post online advertisements

Fact: A minute is not too long to post an online advertisement. On classified-websites, it takes a minute or so to publish ads, but it is important to re-post again & again in order to keep your ad on the first page, which may take more time. But, spending thirty minutes  a day for classified marketing is not at all too long.

Myth #3: Classifieds are slow promotion vehicles

Fact: Online local classified ads portals like fleewe, ebay, gumtree, etc. get second maximum viewers after social networking sites.  If you are active on classifieds, you can yourself measure the effectiveness by counting the number of  leads it generates for your business per day.

Myth #4: Serious buyers do not buy from classifieds

Fact: Most of the online purchases take place through the classifieds as these throw diverse product categories and multiple brand options to users to choose according to their budget and requirements.

Myth #5: Classified Ads are successful only if you have website.

Fact: Your online advertisements can convert a user into buyer even if you do not have a website. It is sufficient to write good description about product/services and mention contact details (phone no. & geographic address and email address) in order to trap a customer.
